Next door to the owner’s own home this very private and well-presented cottage would be ideal for a couple, a family group or group of friends who want to enjoy time together in this most popular area. The cottage is tastefully presented and is cosy and welcoming with two smart bedrooms on the upper floor. The ground floor has a very well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast table with stools and everything a chef could need to prepare gourmet meals! The sitting room is spacious and cosy and the large TV with surround sound ensures that pleasant evenings can be enjoyed around the fire together at the end of an active day. To the front of the cottage is a small enclosed garden with private seating areas where an early morning coffee or evening barbecue can be enjoyed. From here guests can put on their walking boots and really explore or perhaps take a short drive into the vibrant village of Drumnadrochit very close by on the banks of Loch Ness. A most pleasant day can be spent circumnavigating the famous Loch and visiting not only the capital city Inverness but also the smaller villages on the other side of the Loch some with great pubs and restaurants. As you would expect the wildlife in this area is amazing so always keep your camera close. Perhaps Nessie will raise its head! In an area of great natural beauty and magnificent scenery, Drumnadrochit is home to the popular Loch Ness Monster exhibition, a village green, a shop and post office, several cafes, gift shops, pubs, restaurants and a tea room.
