This very spacious detached house occupies a quiet location in the popular village of Dunvegan on the magical Isle of Skye. Mill Cottage is perfectly situated to allow guests easy access to the local shops, hotels and restaurants in the village. With roomy accommodation over two floors there are 4 bedrooms in total, with one at ground floor level. The space in the house means that there are two sitting rooms both with comfy seating and TVs, ideal if the children want their own space! The very well equipped kitchen is open to a lovely bright dining room that overlooks the rear garden and guests will be able to enjoy home cooked meals around the big table together whilst chatting about the day’s events. There is a private garden to the rear, a perfect spot for BBQ in the warmer weather and you are within easy walking distance of a very good local restaurant. Dunvegan of course attracts many visitors, due to the attraction of the famous Dunvegan Castle with its stunning gardens. However, the whole Island is beautiful with its rugged indented coastline, mountainous cliffs and great wildlife. Why not visit the local distillery at Talisker, enjoy a dram and shop for some gifts to take home. The Cuillin Mountain range dominates the Island and there are fantastic walking routes into the heart of the mountains and of course up to the top if you are that way inclined! You will certainly enjoy the comfort and homely ambience of Mill Cottage and the magic of this Island.

Dunvegan is a village on the Isle of Skye, home to some shops and hotels and Dunvegan Castle, about a mile out of the village, home to the Clan Macleod. The Cuillin Mountains are within easy reach and are well worth a visit while Portree, the island's only town, boasts a harbour and a good selection of shops, hotels and restaurants.
