Occupying a desirable elevated position above the township road for Achiltibuie, this charming whitewashed stone cottage provides stunning sea views across to the Summer Isles and beyond. The cottage is deceptively spacious and offers a great space for a large family or group or friends who want to enjoy the unspoilt beauty of the West Highlands together. With the accommodation spread over two floors there are two bedrooms on the ground floor and two on the upper floor, both complemented by bathrooms. The farmhouse-style kitchen with its central dining table is a sociable space for preparing and enjoying meals together and the cosy snug to the rear of the kitchen with its woodburner it a great place for a quiet read or snooze! The sitting room boasts a welcoming open fire and is ideal for relaxation at the end of an active day. As you would expect there are great views from the windows at the front of the cottage and the sunsets can be nothing short of spectacular! With good local services everything you need is close to hand but of course the wider area must be explored! Ullapool is a vibrant town with good shops and dining out opportunities and also a 9-hole golf course. It is from here that you could take a ferry across The Minch to the Western Isles, an unforgettable trip. This is a great area for touring and the North 500 road route can be followed up to Sutherland and around the top of Scotland where quiet roads, wonderful remoteness and pretty little villages can be explored. This is an amazing holiday venue and this pretty hillside cottage will certainly be a great home from home.

Ullapool, nestling on the shores of Loch Broom and overlooking the Summer Isles, is the largest settlement in Wester Ross. The town offers some lovely pubs and restaurants, a range of shops including a well-stocked supermarket, a challenging coastal golf course and a museum and Visitor Centre. Ullapool is an ideal base from which to explore the North West of Scotland, with most of the main tourist attractions an easy drive away.
