Argyll Lodge provides luxury accommodation with a hot tub in a pleasant rural location with views to Luce Bay yet is only few of minutes away from the charming village of Glenluce, situated within Whitecairn Holiday Park on the hillside above the village. From where unparalleled panoramic views stretch across Mull of Galloway and beyond to the Isle of Man.

It is ideal for families or couples with an excellent range of facilities on site including indoor swimming pool (small extra charge), children's play area and trout fishing. The trout pond is designed to give budding fishermen (and women!) of all ages a taste of the fun and excitement of landing a good-sized trout. Fishing is free to all guests on a CATCH and RELEASE basis.

The local area is a popular holiday destination with excellent beaches such as the large sandy beach at nearby Sandhead. The effect of the Gulf Stream means the region has a very mild climate, this allows many "exotic gardens" to thrive in the area including Logan Botanic Gardens on the Mull of Galloway which is well worth a visit. Outdoor pursuits are well catered for and include horse riding, golf, sailing and mountain biking which includes the 7Stanes Trails in the Galloway Forest Park, which as Britain's first designated Dark Sky Park also means that stargazing is a must!

The history and culture of Scotland can be experienced with days out to varied sites and towns such as the town of Wigtown which hosts an annual Book Festival and Whithorn which is one of the earliest known Christian settlements, with a nice walk to St Ninians cave near the town.

Accepts bookings with an any day arrival, short breaks are welcome throughout the year, over the festive period bookings must be for either 7 or 4 nights.

Damage Deposit for care of property

All holiday-makers booking a holiday are required to pay either a Refundable Damage Deposit, £150 or as noted in the property listing details, or Damage Deposit waiver of £18, whichever is selected is required to be paid with the balance payment of the holiday. Where selected the Damage Deposit will be held by the property manager to be applied against the reasonable costs of repairs, replacement or additional cleaning of furnishings, kitchen equipment, crockery, glass, bedding and towels damaged or soiled other than by normal wear and tear during the holiday. The Damage Deposit, less any reasonable charges, will be returned within 14 days of the departure date. Where any costs exceed the Damage Deposit the holiday-maker will pay such excess as notified to them by the property manager within 14 days of notification. Where the holiday-maker has agreed to pay the Damage Deposit Waiver the Damage Deposit is not payable. This amount is non-refundable. If the cost of any damage or breakages exceeds the applicable Damage Deposit value for the property, then the holiday-maker will be liable for any additional costs. Any such excess will be notified to them by the property manager and due for payment within 14 days of notification.
