One of the cleanest I've ever stayed in. Great location. The log fire was awesome and the beds were comfy. The owners had also put up a few decorations for Christmas, which made it feel very cosy with the log burner going and all snowy and white outside. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location is excellent in the centre of town but also a quiet area, the surrounding countryside is well worth a visit the drive up to Galashiels and the return via Eskdalemuir is a lovely run. A property well worth a return visit. Eric and June Burton

We had friends stay at the hotel 1 minute away for £70 a night which seems much better value and what we’d do if we return to the area. Other than that we had a great time!
