The market town of Dumfries, where you will find all the usual amenities, is only a 20 minute drive.

Dumfries is close to hand with a full range of shops and places of interest. There is easy access to the coast and forests including Mabie Forest Mountain Bike Trails and walks across Caerlaverock Estate and nature reserve. The area has excellent salmon fishing on the river Nith, wild fowl on the National Nature Reserve and excellent golf courses at Dumfries and slightly further afield to the links championship course at Southerness.

Let weekly Friday - Friday or Monday - Monday. Short breaks are accepted for either 3 nights Friday - Monday, or 4 nights Monday - Friday outside school holiday periods, during school holidays, short breaks are accepted on the same basis if booked within 28 days of arrival
