Outstanding! The whole family, aged between 5 and 60, thoroughly enjoyed staying at Holy Loch Manor. The property was set out to allow everyone their own space when needed, but was spacious enough to accommodate everyone comfortably when we socialised together. The house is extremely well stocked with everything that we needed to make this a special time. As well as using the additional annex, we were lucky enough to also book the Gatehouse; this was stylish and well designed; it allowed us to spend time away from the family and enjoy the peace and quiet whilst enjoying the wonderful views of the Holy Loch. Thank you to the housekeeper who dealt with a minor problem quickly and efficiently. Graham, the gardener, also needs a mention as he was exceptionally helpful and informative. We would definitely recommend this amazing property to our friends.

We’ve stayed at the house a couple of times now and it is wonderful. The house is beautiful, with outstanding views across the lawns sweeping down to the private waterfront and across the bay. There is lots to do in this lovely area. For me, the highlight was the setting is absolutely stunning

We have been lucky enough to stay at this fantastic location a number of times and would heartily recommend it to other families or groups of friends. From the moment you step on the ferry to Dunoon, you can feel the relaxation beginning. And arriving at the stunning ‘big White House’ with its own private beach, the holiday feeling continues. The house has beautiful gardens which we have enjoyed everything from an Easter egg hunt in with our kids, to long family lunches. Inside the house there is a strong family feeling which, vast as it is, feels very homely. There’s plenty of space for everyone to enjoy and the views of the Holy loch you wake up to each morning are something else. When we’ve managed to drag ourselves away from tea and cooked breakfasts by the Aga, we have had a brilliant time exploring Strone and the surrounding area. Plenty of things to keep the kids entertained including woodland walks and toasting marshmallows on the beach, plus, if you don’t feel like cooking, there are many family friendly pubs nearby for lunches or early teas.
