Duff House, built between 1735 and 1740 in the Deveron Valley, is considered to be one of Britain's finest Georgian houses. Banff has a recreational harbour and marina open to tourists which showcases sandy beaches, waterfront views, seafood restaurants and a variety of shops. Close to Duff is House Royal golf course and only two miles away in Macduff is the award winning Marine Aquarium and Royal Tarlair golf course. The town also offers many opportunities for cycling routes, forest walks, trails cycle routes, whisky trails, pony trekking and dolphin watching, pony trekking and the along with the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses in Fraserburgh.
