About this property

On a working organic dairy farm in rural Ulster, The North Croft benefits from its own equestrian centre and cross country course, where guests are even welcome to bring their own horse along. This fabulous log cabin overlooks the training grounds, only a short walk to the lake, perfect for couples or a family to spend some quality time enjoying the location at its finest. The interior oozes charm, warmth and character from the get-go, a homely place to return to each day, with views of the scenic outdoors almost following you around, and comfortable furnishings in every room. The country cottage theme is reflected throughout the accommodation, from the lounge with its electric woodburner-effect stove and effective flooring to the wonderful wooden kitchen. Whether you are sitting back watching TV, or gathering at the dining table for a family dinner, this retreat draws in sunlight throughout the day, and doubles up as a cosy haven once the sun goes down. Two bedrooms are well-presented; patterned bedding and stylish decor upholds the quality feel, a well-coordinated arrangement consisting of a double and a twin room. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge should you wish to invite two extra guests. Lastly. a lovely shower room features a vanity unit and a feature wall, so you can get ready in style every morning and evening. Outside the decked seating area is home to a barbecue, which can be enjoyed together on a warm afternoon. The civil parish of Ballymoney is tucked into the historic baronies of Dunluce Upper and Kilconway in County Antrim, and the barony of North East Liberties of Coleraine in County Londonderry. Ballymoney is situated on the main road between Coleraine and Ballymena, with good road and rail connections to the main cities in Northern Ireland, Belfast and Derry. On both coasts there are several resort towns, including Portrush (with well-known golf links), Portballintrae and Ballycastle; on the east Cushendun, Cushendall and Waterfoot on Red Bay, Carnlough and Glenarm, Larne on the Sea of Moyle, and Whitehead on Belfast Lough. An idyllic destination for four people.
