Snaptrip says

Brayton Retreat is highly praised for its comfort, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches, including welcome packs. Guests appreciate the property's peaceful location, convenient access to local attractions, and dog-friendly amenities. The garden and private patio are recurrently mentioned as delightful features. The hosts, Kath and Tony, are commended for their warm hospitality, although one review notes room for improvement in cleanliness and maintenance.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found Brayton Retreat to be spotlessly clean, with only a single review expressing disappointment. The overwhelming positive feedback suggests a high standard of cleanliness is typically maintained.

The location is frequently described as peaceful and convenient for local and far-reaching excursions. Its proximity to walking paths, shops, and historical sites contributes to its high rating, although there's a mention of limited activities in Brayton itself.

Guests consistently report a warm, comfortable stay with cosy furnishings and a homely feel. The property is equipped for both human and canine comfort, with only minor suggestions for improvement, such as sofa comfort and Wi-Fi speed.

The facilities at Brayton Retreat are well-received, with special mentions of the well-equipped kitchen and garden. While most reviews are positive, a few guests noted issues with shower temperature control and the decking area, indicating some room for maintenance.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is a standout feature, with numerous mentions of generous welcome packs for both guests and pets. While these gifts are greatly appreciated, it is noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed.

The accommodation was warm and cosy with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic stay. The area was very quiet and a lovely safe area for walking our dog. Our only regret is that we didn't discover it sooner. Thanks Kath for making us so very welcome.
