This is a lovely cottage. Compact, but we don't spend a lot of time indoors when on holiday. The times we did spend indoors was relaxing and cosy. The pictures on the walls are atmospheric and evocative. All of the kitchen equipment worked well as did the central heating. Very important in December! The bed was comfortable and the linen was wonderful. My only observation is that if you are in the later years, as I am, or have any difficulty in walking then the stairs may be a challenge. My comment would be that if you ask the excellent Ingrid Flute staff about the suitability then they will offer genuine and honest advice. But, don't be put off, this is a warm, cosy, comfortable and character filled cottage. We extended our stay and would recommend this cottage. Also note that Ingrid Flute staff are extremely knowledgeable, calm and helpful. Their relaxed and attentive approach helps the holiday feeling.

Lots of character. Cosy. Furnishings appropriate to the nature of the house. Very good value for money.
