The bedrooms are serviced by a contemporary family bathroom, where you can choose to soak within the freestanding bath or refresh with a warming shower, in additional to a ground-floor shower room with another walk-in shower. After an action-packed afternoon exploring the dramatic coastline, look forward to unwinding within the sitting room where you can cosy up in front of the woodburning stove which gently fills the room with tranquillity during the colder evenings as you indulge in some TV or get lost in a good book. The charm of the property is continued into the heart of the home - the spacious kitchen/diner - where you can gather all of your loved ones together to enjoy a sociable evening. The sleek units play host to everything you could possibly need to fulfil your culinary needs whilst away and the dining table is large enough for everyone to tuck into home-cooked meals whilst planning the next day’s adventure. However, if you are visiting during the summer months, throw open the patio doors to filter in a coastal breeze or step outdoors to soak up the sun as your canine companions stretch their legs upon the lawn. If you don’t feel like cooking one evening, head into the village of Goldsborough where you will be delighted to find a pub serving food or venture slightly further afield into Whitby where you will find winding alleyway littered with independent bars, bistros and restaurants to ensure that all tastes are catered to. Whilst in Whitby, look forward to soaking up the sun at the glorious sandy beach or immersing yourself with history as you climb the famous 199 steps up to the ruins of the Abbey. Whitby is an ancient fishing port resting at the mouth of the River Esk and is surrounded by the rolling moorland of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
