Abbey Vista is a two-storey apartment conveniently situated just a short stroll from the sea front and all the delights of the historic town of Whitby. Set over the second and third floors of a large townhouse, the apartment is ideal for a family holiday in this ever popular town with some rooms offering views across the town to Whitby Abbey. On the second floor is the master bedroom with a king-size double bed and an en-suite shower room. Head up to the third floor to discover a twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a small sitting room with a TV; a wonderful spot to hide away and relax with a good book. The sitting room is comfortably furnished and the kitchen provides all the facilities you require to cook a tasty meal, however with an array of restaurants and cafes within walking distance, you may never even turn the cooker on! Abbey Vista lies on the west side of the town which is home to many fine Georgian houses which were built during Whitby's prosperous era when the town's fortune depended entirely on the sea. Head across the river to the picturesque old town with a myriad of red roofs and alleyways once home to the fishermen. The Whalebone Arch and bronze statue commemorating Whitby’s most famous explorer Captain Cook, stand proudly on the West Cliff. Take the 199 steps up to the famous Abbey, or spend a day on the beach as you watch the fishing boats come and go. A lovely apartment in the centre of Whitby which will live long in the memory.

The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire with its superb coastline and the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
