It was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. The open staircase made the downstairs feel really spacious. I loved the Georgian style of the building. We enjoyed playing Cluedo and doing the jigsaw puzzles, as well as all the obvious enticements of Whitby

Parking was a bit of an issue but it was half term, and we always got a space, even if we had to drive up and down the road a few times! The marina over the road wasn't an issue, we thought there may be a lot of noise from it but that wasn't the case at all. A lovely shower, which is always a bonus, and a dishwasher and washer-dryer were very handy for us. Well equipped and a few minutes' walk from everything in Whitby. We'll be back!

Bedroom needs a tv. Lounge tv needs updating. Too hard to figure out how to work it. Bed was very comfortable, cottage was very nice and clean. Very well equipped kitchen, had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Five minute stroll into town, reasonably priced pubs and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.9/10.
