This attractive stone built cottage is situated in the hamlet of Suffield in the North York Moors National Park, surrounded by beautiful walking country. Scarborough with its safe, large beaches and sophisticated entertainment is just four miles away. The cottage was built in 1860 and retains much of its original charm, with carefully restored pitch pine panelling. It is surrounded by open country. The owner lives next door and children will enjoy making friends with the dog, cats and other farm animals. It is a delightful place for a quiet country holiday. Scalby village with its pubs and shops is only one and a three quarter miles away.
ground floor:

Lounge: Wood burning stove, TV with DVD and Freeview.
Kitchen/Diner: Fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, dining table and chairs and a washing machine in the out house.
first floor:
Bedroom 1: Double bed with chest of drawers.
Bedroom 2: Double bed with chest of drawers.
Bathroom: Bath, separate shower cubicle with electric shower, toilet and washbasin.
Pets: Two small dogs, or one large welcome.
Garden: A small, enclosed rear garden suitable for children and dogs, and a stone patio. The side garden has a grassed area where games can be played. There are two outhouses, one a washhouse with washing machine, sink and space for mountain bike or walking boots. The other is a wood store.
Parking: Private parking for two cars.
Heating: Oil fired central heating.
Short breaks: Short breaks not accepted at peak times.
Notes: A cot, high chair and stairgate are provided. Towels and table linen are provided. WiFi.
Suffield
Suffield is a small hamlet set within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. It is surrounded by beautiful walking country and Scarborough with its safe, large beaches and sophisticated entertainment is just 4 miles away. The charmful hamlet is a friendly environment for a relaxing break away and a farm is situated close by. It is a delightful place for a quiet country holiday. Scalby village with its pubs and shops is only one and a three quarter miles away, making Suffield the ideal location for those who wish to relax one day and explore the next.
