This old stone farm building has been converted into three beautiful cottages. They are situated on a working mixed livestock farm (sheep, goats and pigs) in the rural village of Staintondale set back from the road leading to Ravenscar and the coast. The cottages have been completely rebuilt inside and have every modern comfort, leaving old features like oak beams and rough stone walls. It has fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. From the property there is a path leading through the fields towards the old railway line and the Cleveland Way.

ground floor:

Entrance: Hallway leading to

Kitchen/Diner: Fridge/freezer, electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher. Dining table and chairs.

Bathroom: Bath, separate shower, toilet and washbasin.

Lounge: With large picture windows and French doors wide-screen TV with Freeview and DVD, radio/CD player.

From the lounge stairs lead up to a galleried bedroom.

Bedroom 1: Double bed with chest of drawers and hanging space.

first floor:

Landing: With wardrobe and hanging space.

Bedroom 2: Double bed and cot.

Bedroom 3: Double bed, single bed with pull-out bed and chest of drawers.

Pets: Sorry, no pets.

Garden: Gravelled patio area in front of picture windows.  Communal grassy sitting out area with garden furniture and children's swing.

Heating: Night storage heaters.

Parking: Ample car parking space in the grounds.

Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times.

Notes: A travel cot and highchair can be provided upon request. A welcome pack is set for your arrival. Please bring your own towels. The farm also operates the 'Pesky Husky' Trekking & Hiking Centre all year round.

Staintondale

Staintondale is a small village which sits near the old railway track that runs between Whitby and Scarborough and is popular with walkers and cyclists. The village hosts two unusual attractions with a llama trekking centre and a shire horse centre which is ideal for those wanting to experience something new. Staintondale has a history dating back to the Roman Empire and has links to smugglers and pirates.
