If you feel adventurous deviate from these paths and you’ll find the opportunity to try your hand at shooting and fishing while two superb restaurants, use of the hotel facilities including the spa and pool are just a few of the relaxing distractions offered by the estate.

Raithwaite Estate is situated nicely between Whitby and Sandsend. Located at the foot of Lythe Bank, Sandsend is a picturesque village with cottages set against a backdrop of cliffs and two meandering streams, which lead to the sandy beach. When you enter Sandsend you can’t fail to be impressed by the magnificent sweep of the bay leading to the majestic ruins of Whitby Abbey in the distance.
