This beautiful luxury cottage is situated in the charming village of Hunmanby, near the seaside resort of Filey. It is located at the foot of the green rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds, made famous by the paintings of David Hockney. The cottage has been completely refurbished and offers a modern, high quality and stylish interior to relax. It has a large garden with outside seating and private parking at the back. It is situated in the centre of the village close to amenities. Osgodby Cottage is an ideal base from which to enjoy visiting the beautiful sandy beaches of Filey and Scarborough, walking and cycling on the Wolds or exploring the North York Moors National Park. Within an hour's drive or less you may visit the popular historic towns of York and Whitby, Flamingo Land, Dalby Forest, Castle Howard, Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall.

This property was absolutely lovely and extremely well presented. For once a place that goes beyond its description. I would definitely say its a luxury accommodation and a perfect base for seeing the North York Moors and the Coastal towns of Filey, Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby and Staithes. The village has surprisingly good access to a range of amenities (a well equipped gym, Sports hall and 9 hole par three golf course about 7 mins walk from the house) as well as being surrounded by nice country side for walking and running! Malcolm and Julie were wonderful at providing insights to the area and were good at being available for when we had questions and queries and super friendly but never intruded. I should imagine that their property will be well sought after once more people get to know about it. We are looking to rebook either again this year or next year.
