This lovely and well-maintained terraced bungalow is situated in a quiet location, towards the end of an un-adopted road, with open views across the fields and out to sea. This is an ideal location for walkers as the Cleveland Way, leading to either Staithes or Runswick Bay, is on your doorstep. Port Mulgrave is also renowned for fossil hunting. As the cottage has downstairs bedrooms and bathroom it might be suitable for people with mobility problems.
ground floor:
Lounge: TV with DVD player, CD player and electric fire.
Kitchen: Fridge, electric hob and oven, washing machine and microwave.
Bedroom 1: Double bed, dressing table and sea views.
Bedroom 2: Single bed, chest of drawers and fitted wardrobes.
Wet Room: Shower, toilet, washbasin and heated towel rail.
Pets: One well-behaved dog is welcome.
Parking: Private parking for one car.
Heating: Electric fire in lounge and storage heaters.
Garden: Raised patio area with 5 steps leading down to enclosed grass garden. The steps can be avoided by using the side footpath. Garden furniture is provided.
Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times.
Notes: Please bring your own towels. As the property is all on the ground floor it may be suitable for people with mobility problems.
Port Mulgrave
Port Mulgrave is a hamlet rich in history located within the parish of Hinderwell and under ten miles from Whitby. Port Mulgrave once thrived with state of the art industry, extracting iron ore from the hills and shipping it. Most of the cottages were used to house the labourers who worked in the mine and today Port Mulgrave is very popular with fossil hunters as a wide range of ammonite species and reptile remains are often found. It is also an ideal location for walkers as the popular Cleveland way walk passes through the area.

Very nice place to stay, great views from the cottage with the Cleveland Way at the bottom of the garden with easy access for walking along the cliffs.
