Perfect for families, the cottage is home to one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, and its upside-down layout means you can sit back and enjoy the country views that we all know and love Yorkshire for from the open plan living, dining and kitchen space upstairs.

Thanks to the many original features still visible throughout, the cottage is still every inch the characterful property with a difference, and it’s been immaculately converted to an impressive standard.

The cottage is one of four set in the grounds of a local farm, and that means you can embrace country life without even leaving the site. Wander through nature trails that weave their way across the grounds, take some time out in the private hot tub with a terraced area or just settle down on the outdoor seating and take in the tranquil surroundings.

Oak Cottage is located on the outskirts of the peaceful village of Harwood Dale, enjoying all the benefits of being near the coast at Robin Hood’s Bay or Whitby, with access to many exciting woodlands on the doorstep. Perfect for walking and cycling.
During week days from 1st October 2018 – 30th April 2019 renovation works will be taking place at part of the Thirley Cotes Farm site. Whilst every effort will be made to avoid disturbance, some disturbance is possible.
