This terraced former miner's cottage was built around the 1850's and has been lovingly restored, retaining many original features. It is situated along the main street leading down to the railway station.
Front Street is a nineteenth century cottage that has been renovated to retain original features and is situated in Grosmont about seven miles from the coastal town of Whitby. There is the opportunity for lovely walks in the hills and surrounding countryside, and there is a steam railway, cafe, shops, pub and craft shop in the village. Numerous events connected to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway are held throughout the year.

Lovely cosy property can't fault it in any way. First-class service when booking our holiday. Location of property excellent for walks and the steam railway.

Property was immaculately presented with everything you could want for a self catering holiday.
Mrs Jacqui Soulsby
This is our second visit to the cottage and we could tell that the cottage had undergone some upgrade. The cottage as before is welcoming warm and home from home. The cottage is in such a prime position for all amenities and the heritage railway. We were there 6 years ago with our grandson and he loved it, now he is almost 10 and he loved every moment of our stay.
