Lupin Cottage is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its cleanliness, spaciousness, and comfort. The location is appreciated for its proximity to local attractions and the coast. Guests have enjoyed the thoughtful touches such as a welcome basket, although these are not guaranteed. The property is dog-friendly, adding to its appeal.
The majority of guests found the cottage to be very clean, with several reviews highlighting its cleanliness. There were a few mentions of minor issues, but these do not seem to detract significantly from the overall positive perception.
The location is frequently mentioned as a positive aspect, with its close proximity to the coast and local amenities. The convenience for exploring the Yorkshire coast and the presence of a local pub are appreciated by guests.
Comfort is consistently praised, with guests finding the beds and sofas comfortable and the cottage spacious. There is a mention of a squeaky bed, but this appears to be an isolated comment.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the dog exercise area. However, there are comments about the lack of a swimming pool despite it being advertised, and some minor suggestions for improvements. The on-site bar and shop are noted positively.
While guests have mentioned a welcome basket and found it to be a nice touch, there are not enough references to consistently assess the level of thoughtfulness across all stays. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that such gifts will always be provided.

This visit we experienced issues with the wifi which connected but did not necessarily have internet and any streaming was out of the question. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would certainly return.

It was comfortable. I had everything I needed. It was warm and there was plenty of hot water. After a busy day visiting nearby dog friendly attractions it was great to be able to relax in the recliner chair. The safe dog area where my dog could run off the lead was an added bonus. The owner was friendly and helpful. We had very good holiday.
