You will look forward to waking up in style, then wandering outside to enjoy a warm drink on the furniture provided. Out and about, this retreat lies in the village centre with pubs nearby. Four miles away discover Pickering, and flamingo land which is certainly worth a visit. The Beck Isle Museum is also well-appointed, with its unique collection of black and white photography and displays of rural life. Walkers will be spoilt for choice by the rolling hills, valleys, rivers and abundant wildlife of the North York Moors, whilst the city of York and the Heritage Coast are only a drive away. A fabulous place to make yourselves right at home.

With its wide range of amenities and traditional shops, pubs and restaurants, the market town of Pickering serves as the official gateway to the North York Moors National Park. Visitors can enjoy a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway whilst fans of the Harry Potter films will recognise some of the locations used in the Philosopher's Stone! The Beck Isle Museum is within easy reach and is well worth visiting for its unique collection of black and white photography and displays of rural life. The rolling hills, valleys, rivers and abundant wildlife of the North York Moors make them a wonderful place for walking and cycling.
