Helpful phone call from the owner before arrival, how happy were we with the cottage? I'm looking to book it again later in the year. Lovely big fridge freezer if you need to take anything with you or buy things to take home. Lots of walks from the cottage but if you walk to Levisham Station with a dog you will have to lift it over the stile (unusual for the Moors).

Pam was very attentive and welcoming. The village itself was beautiful and pub next door was a bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Our only thing to say is that a security light onto the back garden would help but otherwise a perfect place to stay.

The cottage is warm and comfortable, with everything you need for a great holiday. The beds are really comfortable and having a log burning stove is lovely for colder weather. The enclosed garden was great for our dog, he loved it. There are some fantastic walks from the door onto the moors, we also had a few steam railway trips from Levisham station and having the pub close by was a bonus! All in all a perfect holiday!
