"The owners were friendly & helpful, the cottage was perfect for exploring the moors & close to both Scarborough & Whitby. What I particularly liked was the booklet with walks that could be done from the cottage, this was prepared by the owners & was very welcoming. The cottage was comfortable and clean with both bedrooms having en-suite facilities."
Mrs Fiona Cameron, Motherwell, North Lanarkshire
"The cottage was clean, well equipped and in an ideal location for the places we wanted to visit. The coffee and shortbread left out for us when we arrived, was a lovely touch. "
    Mr Sidney Holbrough, Swansea, Abertawe
"The cottage was very clean, reasonably well appointed and homely, well situated for touring this part of Yorkshire. There were the seaside resorts of Whitby and Scarborough within easy driving distance, numerous magnificent stately houses and gardens to see plus well signposted rambles in the Dales. Within walking distance there was a very welcoming village pub which served wholesome food whilst if fine dining was required for a special occasion another hostelry some 2 miles away was excellent and could be recommended."
Mrs Michelle Blake, North Shields, Tyne and Wear
"Situated in a fantastic area, about 1 minute from the local pub, with a lovely friendly landlord. Lovely quiet village, 2 miles from Pickering. Went to the Fox and Rabbit for a lovely Sunday lunch, which is only 7 minutes away. I would definitely recommend this cottage, fantastic location for walks, cosy and well equipped."
    Mrs Dickson, Anstruther, Fife
"Fantastic cottage, very friendly owners nearby but not intrusive. Cottage was lovely. Definitely would go back and recommend to friends and family. Not far to travel to Flamingo Land, York, Lightwatter Valley Theme Park, Whitby, Scarborough. Lovely family fun."

" my husband and i were very pleased with the geldings, the cottage is spacious, lovely kitchen and both bedrooms are a good size with plenty of wardrobe space and the owners are very nice and helpful. The area is fantastic for all age ranges, lovely places to visit, whitby is very interesting and would have liked more time in york as thers so much to see, very historic. we had some great days walking and the hole of horcum is a great walk for all abilities. for a treat go to bettys tearooms in harrogate a real experience! our only wish is that the showers had been more upto date as it was hard to control the temperture levels and an enclosed shower cubicle would have been better in the second bathroom but we would definately book this cottage again.
