The cottage was beautifully maintained very clean and cosy. Cooked meals with ease in the well stocked kitchen and ate meals with the log burning adding an extra snug feeling! The property was warm and welcoming on returning from days out. Jane was a lovely host and available for any queries .We were delighted to be offered a tour of her home and to hear the history. Would definitely return.

The cottage was well equipped and was very clean. It was lovely being able to sit outside overlooking the countryside. The property is close to Pickering for the steam trains, where you can get to Whitby. Also York (best to go in via park & ride) and lots of villages to visit which are very pretty.
