The room is complete with a stylish en-suite shower room. Outside is an enclosed cobbled garden, providing a lovely space for drinks in the sun in the warmer weather. Just a short walk brings guests to the beautiful town centre with a huge cobbled town square and plenty of shops, pubs, cafes, tearooms and restaurants. With a weekly market too there is plenty to cater for all tastes. Why not spend a day at North Yorkshires finest attraction, Richmond Castle and admire the breathtaking views of North Yorkshire. Nearby guests can find popular towns such as Hawes, Reeth and Middleham, perfect places to enjoy a refreshing drink or meal after a walk in the countryside. A wonderful cottage, 4 Youngs Yard can be enjoyed at any time of the year.
Situated at the entrance to Swaledale, the market town of Richmond stands on a prominent hilltop site to the north of the River Swale. The town grew up around its castle, a Norman fortress dating back to 1071. Within the town, narrow streets and alleys radiate from the cobbled Market Place (which has a weekly market and monthly farmers market) and there are numerous shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. The Georgian Theatre is one of the oldest surviving theatres in the country with visitors enjoying its regular productions all year round.

It's location is great for all Richmond has to offer. It's only a 3 or 4 minute walk into the centre. The cottage was well equipped with everything you need. The outside space, although small, is a little suntrap. It was great for a late afternoon G&T after exploring Richmond. We would definitely book again if visiting Richmond.

Walking distance of Lidl, town centre, theatre. Comfy bed. Plenty of hot water. Lovely modern bathroom with spacious shower. Very quiet both night and day. Only sound was birdsong. Easy parking. Felt very safe. Richmond is a wonderful town. Perfect for a single person or a couple.
