Located within the grounds of the owner’s property, this light, airy and spacious property is ideally situated in a quiet position away from the main street in this popular Dales village, yet within walking distance of the restaurants and pubs in West Witton. The open plan lounge, diner and kitchen are well equipped and benefit from views over the delightful garden. The spacious bedroom has a window seat and is equipped with a king-size bed. This cottage is ideally positioned for a romantic getaway and is a great base to explore the surrounding countryside, with walks in Wensleydale from the door.

We, a couple in our 60’s, stayed in the Coachman’s Loft for 10 days in July 2018 and we’re happy to say we found this place very attractive. Nice location in the village with just some yards away from local pub, village store and a nice restaurant. The walled garden was surrounded of flowers and to sit out on the blue bench enjoying the afternoons listening to birds and sheeps, became rapidly a very good habit for us. The cottage itself was a gem consisting everything you need for a pleasant stay and we found it very clean and tidy. Steve & Carol made us feel at home from the first minute and to be welcomed by Carol’s fresh baked scones was a very nice gesture. They really know the area and they gave us many good suggestions for tours and hikes in the area and for us it worked out very well. If you have to toss a coin to decide whether you shall book or not a stay in the Coachman’s Loft, just forget it. Book !
