Myrtle Cottage is highly praised for its well-equipped nature, cosy atmosphere, and excellent location for walks and local amenities. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, including welcome gifts, and find the property clean and well-maintained. Some concerns about parking and privacy in the garden are noted, but overall experiences are very positive.
The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with numerous guests commenting on its immaculate condition. One mention of the bathroom being 'a bit filthy round edges' slightly impacts the score.
The location is celebrated for its proximity to walks and scenery, with a good local pub and shop. Some guests found the parking challenging and the lane busy at times, but the location is generally regarded as excellent.
Comfort is consistently highlighted, with guests finding the cottage cosy and welcoming. The log burner is a favourite feature, although one guest suggested additional heating for chilly mornings.
Facilities are well-regarded, with the cottage being described as well-equipped and thoughtfully arranged. Some guests experienced issues with parking and desired better dining arrangements, which slightly affects the score.
Guests frequently mention welcome gifts and the provision of useful information, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed and one guest did not find the welcome pack, the score reflects this.

Great communications from the owner and the cottage was immaculately cleaned and maintained. No issues during our stay and we hope to get the chance to return.
