Everything seemed to have been done on the cheap! Round the entrance door, we both on separate occasions, got our feet tangled in the overgrown bushy plants which were loops of stalks and very dangerous causing me to have to grab the wall before I fell. The bed and pillows were particularly uncomfortable, as was the sofa which was well past its best. The “chandelier “ ( plastic) was broken in numerous places where the chains hung and really wasn’t nice to look at. The back patio door double glazing had blown and just made it look dirty. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it certainly needed a lick of paint or something to smarten it up. The glasses and crockery etc. were all mis match and we felt that could be improved greatly. The two tall glasses provided looked like ex pub beer glasses! The fridge freezer looked as though it had been given a beating with a base ball bat and was full of dents. We were asked to bring our own towels by the owner, even though it was stated that these were included in the cost. The toilet roll holder was loose. The back fence had been repaired with an old wrought iron gate. We certainly won't be returning or recommending. Such a shame as it had so much potential.

Cottage was much bigger than we were expecting. Bed was very comfortable and was very clean. A fly trap would help outside to stop flies flies from getting in. Loved the hot tub was very relaxing. The dog was very comfortable in the surroundings and enjoyed the goats.

Lovely log burning hot tub which we made use of. Extremely quiet. Take some essentials with you like milk and bread etc, tea, coffee sugar provided but closest shop about a 10-15 minute drive away. Beautiful area for walks, our 15 year old dog loved it! Comfortable bed and fantastic footed bath. Some people mention flies, all I can say is what do you expect, you're on a working farm! Look forward to booking again.
