This charming, ground floor conversion (originally a former milking parlour) has been sympathetically restored retaining much of the original character of the old building and is situated amidst beautiful rolling countryside within the extensive private grounds of the owners' racing stables where visitors can watch the horses being paraded for their daily exercises  across the gallops.  The open plan accommodation which has low beams and exposed stonework is equipped with good quality furnishings and a wood burning stove creating a cosy retreat for couples at any time of the year. 

The pretty village has a very good pub and restaurant and is situated mid-way between the Dales market towns of Leyburn and Bedale with their unique country shops, pubs, restaurants and tea-rooms.
