Guests say

The Chapel Cottage in Bainbridge is consistently praised for its beautiful location, cosiness, and well-equipped nature, making it a home away from home. Guests appreciate the property's proximity to local attractions and its suitability for family holidays. While some minor issues were noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Most guests found the cottage to be well-kept, though there were isolated comments about a blocked dishwasher and some dusty items. These seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is highly regarded, with guests loving the picturesque village setting and the convenience of local amenities and walks in the Yorkshire Dales.

The cottage is frequently described as cosy and warm, with a homely atmosphere. However, one review suggested it might be cramped for larger groups, slightly affecting the score.

Facilities are generally praised for being well-equipped, though there was a mention of a blocked dishwasher and some desire for more worktop space, indicating room for improvement.

While guests have noted personal touches and a homely feel, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful gestures that would warrant a score in this category.

We had a wonderful holiday in the lovely Chapel Cottage in the quiet village of Bainbridge. A perfect place for a family holiday.

Lovely cottage forming one half of a converted chapel in the wonderfully located village of Bainbridge. Spread over three floors with the kitchen and living and dining area on the first floor. Well equipped and felt more like a home than a holiday let. We stayed during an unseasonably cold April week and the cottage was always cosy and well heated. We would very happily return.

The cottage is in a great spot for visiting the Dales, with many walks from the door. The cottage was very warm and cosy and we looked forward to returning their after a busy day out exploring.
