Treat your loved one to a very special stay in this delightful cottage deep in the Yorkshire Dales. Sleeping just two guests, but welcoming a canine companion as well, the one-bedroom, stone-built retreat is close to Worton, 1 mile from Askrigg and 11 miles from Leyburn. With glorious views and a charming garden, this is the perfect place to decompress and spend some quality time together.

Head down the path and step through the charming front door. The welcoming kitchen/diner awaits with everything you might require to help you rustle up tasty dishes, with a pretty two-seater table. Head through to the lounge to unwind in the evening where you can sink back into the soft seating and switch on the Smart TV for cosy evenings in. As the sun goes down, make your way up the stairs to the wonderful double bedroom. Awake to beautiful views from the comfortable stylish bed here and then savour a hot shower or long bath in the bathroom. Soak up the sunshine out in the garden as often as possible, taking in the scenic views and watching for wildlife. Parking for this cottage is in a layby 100 metres away.

Head into Hawes, 5.5 miles away, to dine out, visit the Dales Countryside Museum and take a tour of the Wensleydale Creamery. Spend time at the magnificent Aysgarth Falls, 4 miles from the cottage, where there are some beautiful walks to follow.

    Beautiful, well equipped cottage set in a lovely location central to alot of beautiful walks. Can recommend the food at The Crown Inn , Askrigg. Would definitely stay at this cottage again
