We had a fabulous relaxing weeks stay in Skovarel. The lodge has everything you need and we made most of the hot tub and sauna. The area is breathtaking you feel very secluded in the wood setting but they are also conveniently situated for lots of walks. The owners made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to replace our oven on a Bank holiday thank you both very much. I don't think we've ever been as relaxed on returning from a holiday and were very sad to leave. The visitor's book has lots of return guests which speaks volumes and we will definitely be one of them. Thank you once again for a fantastic relaxing break.

The lodge we stayed in was beautiful. We particularly love how it felt like a traditional lodge rather than just a home! The rooms are excellent with very comfy beds and lots of space! The hot tub is really secluded which makes a big difference. The outdoor area was well light. The animal feeds on the trees is a lovely touch and seeing the squirrels and birds added to our enjoyable Only downside to the lodge was the cooker which we could not get to work. There is a book which explains but it’s not clear and has pictures but the corresponding icons on the cooker were fades so we had no idea how to work it. It should not be up to guests to rest the cooker! Also we could not get the sauna to work, followed the instructions but would not come on. Again, screenshot photos would be helpful. Overll, we would recommend this lodge for anyone wanting a traditional lodge feel. It was also lovely to see some Christmas decorations out and lovely touch to have a bottle of presecco on our arrival. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

Beautiful lodge and well equipped. Lovely to wake up to the wildlife in the morning, lodge right on the edge of the woods with private gate to woods. Prosecco and chocolates a welcome gift on arrival. Have already recommended to friends and family.
