Snaptrip says

Bumble Cottage is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and picturesque location, ideal for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, cosy atmosphere, and thoughtful touches, including a welcome gift. While some minor maintenance issues and the absence of a back garden are noted, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage receives consistent commendations for its spotless condition, with multiple reviews highlighting its cleanliness. This suggests a high standard of hygiene and care.

The location is celebrated for its beautiful views and accessibility to local attractions and walks. However, some guests mention nearby construction, which slightly impacts the tranquillity.

Guests frequently mention the comfortable beds and furnishings, contributing to a pleasant stay. A few comments about the sofa and bathroom size prevent a perfect score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the cottage being well-equipped. Some reviews point out minor issues like TV reception and a non-working cooker ring, indicating room for improvement.

While guests express gratitude for the welcome gift and find it a kind gesture, as it is not consistently mentioned across all reviews, it cannot be guaranteed for future guests.

Comfy, warm, well equipped and well placed for a stay any time of year.

  • Stephanie

All the necessary utensils etc were there. The beds were very comfortable. The only drawback was the bathroom very small, also a bathmat would be helpful

  • Alan

The bathroom is miniscule, no heating, no bathmat and nowhere to hang towels. No rear garden, only sitting out area at front facing main road. Parking not very satisfactory.
