A cosy cottage located in the beautiful village of Osmotherley, on the western edge of the North York Moors National Park. Snug and inviting, this pretty retreat is well-suited for couples or a small family wishing to spend some time away from it all in an idyllic rural location. The front door leads into a lounge that features a collection of comfortable seating and a woodburning stove, perfect to warm those cooler evenings. Through the rear of the cottage you can access a small patio area, with views over the village and surrounding North Yorkshire moors. Ideal for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The charming kitchen/diner is decorated and fitted to a high standard, with a table for four people. Upstairs, discover the well presented bedrooms, with charming features to create a true home-away-from-home feel throughout. Finally, a neat little shower room ties the interior together, completing the first floor. All the windows to the front of the cottage are fitted with shutters to enhance guests comfort and give a warm, homely feel. Osmotherley is very popular with cyclists and walkers, providing convenient access to the Cleveland Way and the coast-to-coast long distance footpaths which pass close by, it is also the start of the famous Lyke Wake walk. There are three excellent pubs in the village, all serving great beer and good food.There is also a village shop. The nearby market towns of Northallerton, Stokesley, Helmsley, Thirsk and Ripon, with its famous racecourse, have cobbled market squares, quaint alleyways and cosy tearooms. The historic cathedral cities of York, Ripon, Durham and Newcastle are all within an hour's drive, as is the spa town of Harrogate. A retreat not to be missed.

The conservation village of Osmotherley lies within the National Park, and has three good pubs, a shop, and plenty of walks from the door. There are market towns and historic cities within easy reach, as well as countryside and the coastline. Cathedral cities of York, Ripon, Durham and Newcastle are all within an hour's drive.
