Stokesley 6.5 miles. An attractive lodge, set within the owners' land, in the small hamlet of Potto, just over six miles from the town of Stokesley. Surrounded by glorious countryside, it is ideally placed for those wishing to explore both the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks. With beautiful views over rolling countryside, Whorlton Lodge offers a bright and spacious open plan living area, comfortably furnished, with a modern well-equipped kitchen, a separate dining table and squashy sofas to relax on, after an enjoyable day’s walking. The large glass windows and patio doors throw in plenty of light and overlook the distant hills and stunning scenery. Stokesley is a popular bustling market town, offering a wide range of pubs, shops, tea rooms and a regular farmers’ market. This area is ideal for walking or cycling, with an excellent network of public footpaths, including the Coast to Coast and the Cleveland Way long distance trails. The historic market towns of Northallerton, Yarm and Thirsk (famous as the home of James Herriot) are all within 20 minutes’ drive and provide interesting days out, whilst the coastal resorts of Saltburn and Whitby are an easy drive away. An excellent lodge in a tranquil setting for a varied holiday, anytime of the year. Note: This property is situated approx 50 yards from Refs 13981 and 13983, together they sleep 12.

The market town of Stokesley offers interesting Georgian and Victorian buildings, riverside walks, shops, banks, public houses and restaurants. Within driving distance are both the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks.
