" The cottage was as listed, and was even better than we had hoped for. The owner of the cottage had provided lots of information about the local area and had also provided a welcome afternoon tea for our arrival. The cottage was extremely homey and comfortable and is in a fantastic location. We would definitely book again. "

" We have just come back from a lovely week in this beautiful homely cottage, the owner met us, was very friendly supplied us with milk, eggs, cake to get us started. The pub is one minutes walk from cottage, also shop, and coffee shop, and fish & chip shop if you are feeling lazy. It is a very friendly village we have been many times, the only thing lacking in the cottage is a full size ironing board & iron there is a travel iron and small table top ironing board, we had a heat wave when there so missed not having a garden to sit in. I would go back in a heartbeat. Other than what I have stated the cottage is very clean and has everything in it. "
    Mrs Hambleton
"The cottage is so warm and welcoming with everything you would need to make it a home from home. The owners were lovely and had added thoughtful touches for our arrival like fresh milk, cake and a jug of wildflowers. Loved it."

" Me and my boyfriend stayed at Saddle Cottage on 31/03/17 - 4/4/17 we were met by Nicola and her mum when we arrived and they showed us around the cottage. They had left us home made scones with homemade jam and butter which was delish, the cottage was modern through out and very spacious and cosy (especially with the wood burner on) the bed was very comfy in the main bedroom, the location of this cottage was perfect as it sits right on the path for cleveland way and the village of Osmotherley was just on the right of the cottage. The best thing about this place is that there are lots of walks right on the doorstep. There are 3 pubs in the village and we went to all 3 and they were amazing but our fave was the queen catherine, we can not wait to return to Osmotherley "

"Yes. I want you to know that the owner of the cottage is a very friendly and helpful lady. I highly recommend the place. And the village is a charming place. We really did enjoy our holiday there."

"A very pleasant cottage that is well cared-for. The owner obviously takes care of it and takes pride in it. There were no problems, and the whole holiday went well. We would have no hesitation in booking there again."
    Mrs Hill, Derbyshire
"What a beautiful cottage. Everything about the cottage was well thought out and decorated in a style that suited the age of the building. Although it was only a small cottage everything was designed to make it somehow spacious. We cooked a fair bit so it was nice to have all the pots/pans/utensils to do everyday cooking. We had a lovely time with a cosy cottage to come back to after long walks in the moors."
    Miss Woodhouse
"We had a great welcome on arrival at Saddle Cottage, the cottage was lovely, clean and obviously well cared for. The bed was very comfortable, something which you often don't find in holiday cottages. We will definitely return to Saddle Cottage."
Mr Neil Smith, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
"An excellent cottage, everything was perfect, as was the location. I would recommend this to anyone."
Mr David Graham, Dumfries, Dumfries and Galloway
"Saddle Cottage is a very well finished, cosy cottage in a delightful little village and the owners are most welcoming. "
    Mrs Emma Turton, York,
"The cottage is in a perfect location in the village. The warm welcome we received was fantastic. The cottage was of a very high standard and I would be happy to recommend to anybody. The overall decoration was cosy, the wood burner was easy to use and kept the cottage lovely and warm. The village holds 3 pubs that all serve food."
