Snaptrip says

Guests consistently praise Lovesome Cottage for its high standard of furnishings, luxurious touches, and the private hot tub with stunning countryside views. The location is appreciated for its proximity to lovely towns and hiking trails. The hosts are noted for their helpfulness and warm hospitality. While the cottage's comfort and cleanliness receive positive mentions, a few guests noted issues with bed size and occasional spiders due to the rural setting.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found the cottage very clean, with only a few mentioning issues with spiders and flies, which is somewhat expected in a rural, farm setting. The cleanliness of the hot tub and the property overall is well-regarded.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its beautiful views, proximity to hiking trails, and lovely nearby towns. The peacefulness of the countryside setting and the convenience of being close to Northallerton are appreciated by guests.

Comfort is generally well-received, with the cottage described as cosy and inviting. However, several guests mentioned that the bed was small for taller individuals, which impacted their comfort during sleep.

Facilities such as the hot tub, Wi-Fi, and digital TVs are highlighted as excellent. The well-equipped cottage and maintenance of the hot tub are noted positively. Some guests suggested improvements like the addition of an iron and better ventilation.

While guests have mentioned thoughtful gestures such as fresh apple muffins for breakfast, there is not enough consistent information about gifts or additional thoughtful touches to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

About this property

Northallerton 3.5 miles. This beautiful detached cottage on the owners' working livestock and arable farm is situated close to the town of Northallerton in North Yorkshire. This cottage is ideal for a romantic break set in a secluded location but close enough to explore the surrounding area. There is one step up to the front door, where you step into a lovely open plan area which has a kitchen and dining area together with a comfortable double bed and sitting area. This room leads through to a separate sitting area with a two-seater settee and occasional chair, and a woodburner to use if the weather turns a little cold. Through the patio doors there is a peaceful garden where you will find a fantastic hot tub with the most magnificent views. There are two steps up to the hot tub and a convenient cloakroom with shower, basin and WC for you to use either before or after you have soaked away the pains of your many walks. The town of Northallerton is only a short drive away and there are two weekly markets as well as fabulous restaurants, tea rooms and shops. Further afield is the spa town of Harrogate, the historic city of York and the coastal resorts of Saltburn and Whitby. You can also explore the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors National Parks, both with plenty of places to visit.

Northallerton is a County town and administrative centre of North Yorkshire, located at the foot of a ridge dividing two river basin areas, the Wiske and the Cod Beck, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the edge of the Vale of York, between the Hambleton Hills and the Yorkshire Dales.

Its the second time we've been and it's an ideal getaway holiday. You're left in peace but the owners are there if you need anything.

Lovely cottage very clean and inviting. The hot tub is fabulous. The owners are very friendly, we will definitely be back

Very hospitable and helpful. The cottage is beautiful but the bed and sofa were quite uncomfortable. The kitchen and bathroom however, were a delight. Lovely hot water and everything you need to hand. Personally, I think the hot tub needed more chlorine as it was a bit murky but, on the whole, our stay was lovely
