Completely renovated throughout in 2019, the attractive semi-detached cottage benefits from off road parking and an enclosed garden perfect for children or four-legged friends.

Surrounded by beautiful open countryside, the friendly market town is also known as the ’Gateway to the Dales’, and boasts an ancient castle, a beautiful parish church, a wonderful cobbled high street and a colourful street market. In 2008 Skipton high street was also voted the best shopping spot in Britain, in 2014 it was voted the Sunday Times Best Place to Live in Britain and in 2017 The Independent Britain’s Happiest Place.

Well placed for visiting all that the Yorkshire Dales National Park has to offer, an abundance of stunning countryside is easily accessible and just perfect for walking, cycling or simply driving around to take in the glorious surroundings. Slightly further afield, the city of York can be reached in just over an hour, as can the Lake District National Park. For those wanting to give their cars a rest, Skipton train station is just over 1 mile from the property and offers direct services to Leeds, Bradford, Carlisle, Lancaster and Morecambe.     Lovely house - it’s not a cottage- in the middle of a housing estate. Well equipped if a little dated. As it is semi detached, you can hear the baby next door crying. The radiator in the bathroom doesn’t work and the house is on the chilly side.
