Kingfisher Cottage, 11 Airebank Terrace is a lovely, terraced cottage settled in Gargrave, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. With three bedrooms sleeping up to five guests, the cottage welcomes families, friends, and couples to explore North Yorkshire's rolling countryside. The cottage has roadside parking for one car and an enclosed patio to the front, along with a rear garden where you can dine alfresco with views of the River Aire and surrounding countryside. Inside, the ground floor hosts everything you need for a self-catering holiday, including a well-equipped kitchen and utility, complete with an electric oven, induction hob, fridge and freezer. You'll find a spacious living/dining room to savour family dinners by the warmth of the gas stove, followed by an evening of board games from the selection. Gargrave is a great base for exploring Yorkshire's Leeds-Liverpool Canal, Route 68, and Pennine Way. Skipton, "The Gateway to the Dales," is 4 miles away with its castle and high street. This location near Yorkshire Dales National Park is ideal for walking, cycling, and touring.

The beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. The kitchen facilities were great, we particularly appreciated the doggie treats left upon arrival! Sitting out the back was lovely and relaxing, it was great to see the cows. We ate at The Old Swan one night and the food was lovely. The other night we ordered a Chinese takeaway from Skipton which came in good time and again, the food was lovely. The only concern we had was we couldnât find the hairdryer (it was in the drawer in the dresser in the main bedroom which is quite neatly concealed!) that could just be us being daft, but might be worth putting either on top of the dresser or in the wardrobe as the drawer isnât easily spotted. The location is amazing, only a short walk into Gargrave. We didnât want to go home and have said this is our new âgo to placeâ if ever we want a break! Canât fault our stay, 10/10!
