Many period features remaining, comfortable and warm. Quiet location, with no passing traffic, the only person we saw was the friendly local farmer. I wouldn’t have minded a bit less stuff in the kitchen cupboards, but that’s just nitpicking. Planning our next visit already.

The beds were very comfy and the bathroom was spotless. The tub was great after our three peaks walk! The kitchen was generally well equipped but didn't have any tupperware, so we made do with what was on hand for our leftovers. We found many of the dishes had not been washed properly and needed to be washed before use. The hair dryer is broken, it does not blow hot air. We also were not provided with fire starters/kindling as was advertised. The area has no cell phone coverage, but the cottage has very good wifi. We loved the gorgeous garden and the sheep next door. We would love to visit again!
