The washing machine wasn't plumbed-in. There was a lack of some kitchen items, like whisk, mixing bowls, Cling film & tin foil. No batteries in the clock. Better quality pillows in the bedroom would have been a nice touch. The chrome furniture on the bathroom sink was a bit shabby. The shower door kept coming out of the top runner and a soft close toilet seat would be nice. The setting was lovely. The town had everything you could want. Great walks, independant shops, good pubs and friendly people.

The property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Parking was a concern prior to arriving but was absolutely fine. The rental represented very good value in comparison with other properties we have stayed in. We really appreciated the useful folder full of information on the local area - we made use of the pizza menu and the Whernside walk! Teddy bears were also a nice touch. Only real gripes were cleanliness of some of the dishes (very minor as would wash prior to using anyway) and lack of hot chocolate - I’m not usually a hot chocolate drinker but fancied one after a long walk on a cold evening! I would also suggest that the lay-out of the lounge area is not conducive to using the TV but this was as advertised in the pictures.

A very short walk into Ingleton which is a vibrant little town with everything you need and more. Great pubs, great Italian restaurant, Indian takeaway, good chippy, co op, fabulous climbing wall, outdoor swimming pool, good playground, amazing walks from the front door. We will be back soon!
