The cottage is located in a unique location, overlooking Ingleton’s relic Grade II listed viaduct. With contemporary styling, the cottage has been renovated to a high standard throughout and provides an ideal retreat for a couple or small family wanting to get away from it all. The main entrance leads into an open plan layout comprising of a dining area, a cosy lounge with a woodburning stove and a modern spacious kitchen. The first floor provides a stylish country bathroom and a large double bedroom with views across to the river. Modern furnishings are evident throughout, making the cottage a pleasant base to enjoy your break sampling the many delights of this historic and scenically beautiful area. Ingleton is surrounded by impressive mountains, caves and waterfalls. Whether you intend on admiring the views and taking it easy or embarking on an adventurous holiday, Ingleton provides the perfect location to cover all agendas. Walk around the famous waterfalls, up Ingleborough or around Yorkshire’s famous Three Peaks Challenge, all from your doorstep. Alternatively you can visit the local pottery, artisan shops, country pubs, indoor climbing wall or outdoor seasonal heated swimming pool. Just outside the village you can visit the magnificent limestone White Scar Caves and café- with outstanding views of the valley. Within a 10 minute drive you can watch, or even enjoy a scenic ride on one of the steam trains over the spectacular Ribblehead viaduct on the Settle-Carlisle railway. Families are able to enjoy the nature trail in Clapham that leads up to Ingleborough Show Cave. Within half an hour you can visit the bustling market towns of Settle and Hawes, see the majestic Malham Cove and visit the Lake District. This sublime cottage is fantastically located for experiencing some of the most spectacular attractions in the region.

Nestling under Ingleborough, one of the famous Three Peaks, on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the attractive village of Ingleton offers a good range of shops, pubs and places to eat. The centre of the village is pretty, with narrow and winding streets centred on a tiny market place. The village's well known White Scar Caves, a mile outside the village on the Hawes road, are open to the public and have a dazzling display of stalactites and stalagmites, caverns and a huge underground lake.

Note: The walk up to the village is via a steep hill.

Please Note: The owner does have a dog and does use the cottage herself, therefore anyone with who suffers from severe pet allergies, this property may not be suitable.
