We had a fabulous week at Brackenber Farmhouse. The cottage is beautiful, really welcoming and a lovely place to spend some time relaxing. There Aga and wood burner were very much appreciated as we visited in February, the house was always lovely and warm to come back to. There are some really thoughtful touches which made this cottage stand out from others we have stayed at - welcome tray, spice rack, herb garden a second fridge in the larder, detergent for the dishwasher and washing machine, games, books. And then there's the fabulous walks from the front door. We'd love to return.

Brackenber is a very impressive farmhouse. Very well equipped and comfortable. Peaceful setting in beautiful Dales countryside. Enjoyed walks from the door. We will definitely return.

We absolutely loved staying here. It was superbly equipped and had everything we could want. It was lovely and warm even in sun zero temperatures. We loved watching all the birds come to the feeder including a pheasant! There was ample space even when we invited people over for dinner and there’s were 11 of us in the house. 3 toilets were very appreciated on this day. We will definitely stay here again if we plan to visit before we move to the Dales.
