Its in a rural peaceful setting with footpaths from the doorstep added bonus is High Bentham just minutes away in the car for supplies, pubs & friendly cafe. Lots to see & explore in surrounding area but Lancaster & Lakes accessible too. Cottage is so comfortable, clean, modern but still quirky and had everything you need to hand including wifi, log burner, smart tv & wonderful openplan kitchen diner with skylight. Owner greeted us on arrival and showed how everything worked & advised about local amenities & walks etc which was a lovely personal touch. Highly recommend this cottage & would definitely visit again.

Was welcomed by Malcolm on arrival who gave us the run down of the cottage and where to find everything, also providing us with local eateries info etc. the welcome basket was much appreciated too. The cottage is in a small peaceful village, and there’s plenty to see and do in surrounding areas especially if you enjoy walking. Highly recommend this cottage and would book again without hesitation. Emma, Andrew and Riley ( the border collie)
