Many famous walking routes, including Mastiles Lane and Conistone Dib, are literally on the doorstep. Take an energetic hike up to the top of the Dale, enjoy the dramatic limestone paving, then be welcomed back into the comfort of the cottage. The well-equipped kitchen and dining room is the perfect place to create and enjoy an evening meal, whilst the sitting room, with its wood-burning stove, offers a cosy space to relax in comfort. Upstairs you’ll find a walk in power shower and two bedrooms; a super-king-size and a twin; each offering delightful spaces to spend a restful night. When the sun’s out enjoy the rear garden, which offers another chance to take in the truly spectacular views. If you don’t fancy cooking after a long day outdoors, there are many local pubs and restaurants with good food on offer. Alternatively, grab something ready made from the shops just 3 miles away. Grassington has an abundance of shops and a monthly farmer’s market so there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy some local produce. You don’t have to go far from the cottage to find some of the finest limestone scenery in the country or take a walk up the river Wharfe, towards Kettlewell, Buckden and Arncliffe. A short drive away is Bolton Abbey and the Strid, Malham Tarn, Aysgarth Falls, and Fountains Abbey. You’ll be spoilt for choice with so many things to see and do in the local area.

Grassington is small village in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Whilst here, you will find shopping facilities, a monthly farmer’s market, pubs and a small selection of attractions including Grassington Folk Museum, the National Park Centre and the The Devonshire Institute. Within close reach is the market town of Skipton which plays host to a larger selection of amenities and attractions.
