Snaptrip says

Fogga Croft Cottage is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its spaciousness, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. The hot tub is a highlight, receiving daily maintenance, and the property's proximity to the Coniston Hotel and Spa adds to its appeal. The location is appreciated for its beautiful surroundings and convenient access to local attractions. Some guests mentioned minor issues with cleanliness and maintenance, but these do not detract significantly from the overall positive experience.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage to be lovely, with only a few mentioning issues such as a found baby rattle and the need for better cleaning under the dining table. These appear to be isolated incidents rather than a trend.

The location is frequently described as perfect, with easy access to local amenities and attractions. The proximity to a busy road was noted, but it did not significantly impact the guests' experiences.

Guests consistently mention the comfort of the beds and the spaciousness of the rooms. However, some noted that one of the twin rooms was quite small for adults and that the pillows were hard.

The facilities, including the hot tub, are generally praised, though some guests suggested improvements such as better hob instructions, more kitchenware, and a gate for pet and child safety. The presence of a spa across the road is a positive aspect.

While guests appreciated welcome touches like bread, biscuits, and Prosecco, there is not enough information to assess the consistency of these gestures or their impact on the overall experience. Therefore, it is politely noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

We were a party of 8 adults and 4 children (aged 2yrs to 11yrs). Check in was straight forward and the hotel staff very helpful. Any issues were dealt with promptly. The hot tub was a big hit with the family. The only small suggestion we have is that instructions are provided on how to use the hob (none of us had ever come across an induction hob with controls like that before!). Other than this, everything was great.

Facilities all as described and nice welcome packs & spa toiletries. All rooms were of a high standard and the hot tub was a real bonus - used it even in October.

There were lots of comments about how comfortable the beds were. We were a bit short of fridge space and an extra fridge in the utility room would have been an added bonus. The only problem we had was with the hob controls. There was no real guidance and we couldn’t make it work. However, when I rang the hotel two young chefs hurried over and showed us how to run our fingers round the centre which was good but we found it difficult to operate all week. The road noise was annoying during the night but all in all we had a lovely time in a very comfortable cottage in a beautiful place.
