Cononley is a lovely little village in Airedale, four miles south of Skipton. It boasts two pubs, a Chinese take-away and a mainline railway station with links to Leeds, Skipton and the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway line. Nearby Skipton has its castle, an old parish church and a market occupying the cobbled setts each side of the high street.
