The busy village of Clapham is a 20-minute walk away, and Settle, Leeds, Skipton, Ribblehead, Dent, Garsdale and Appleby can easily be reached in the car or the railway line. The cycling and walking opportunities are endless and there are a number of country pubs and award-winning restaurants all within a short distance. The local farm shop is also just a mile away, selling organic vegetables and local produce, and also has a coffee shop. Ingleton is also well-worth a visit for its incredible scenery, impressive woodland waterfalls and stunning show caves. A great place to stay all year round!
Clapham is situated in the heart of the famous "Three Peaks" country. The Nature Trail at Clapham passes by a lake and woodland before reaching Ingleborough Show Cave. Follow the footpath further and wonder at the magnificent Trow Gill, before continuing past Gaping Gill (Britains deepest pothole) on the way to the summit of Ingleborough.
